I’m Cledwyn, founder of Top Tutors Scotland. With an engineering background across the automotive, oil and gas, and agricultural chemical industries, I’ve seen first-hand how important Maths and Physics are beyond the classroom. I started Top Tutors Scotland to give students supportive, curriculum-focused tuition that helps build confidence, strengthen understanding and make learning feel more relevant.
Outside of work, I enjoy badminton, running and keeping active, and I’m a big believer in helping students find a healthy balance between academic progress and the things they enjoy.

With a background in pharmacy, caring for and supporting others has always been an important part of who I am. Having experienced tutoring myself growing up, I understand how important it is for every student to feel safe, supported and comfortable while learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga and art, which help me unwind, stay creative and keep a healthy balance.

Having received tutoring myself, I understand first-hand how valuable the right support can be in building confidence and strengthening understanding. That experience inspired me to become a tutor and help other students feel encouraged in their own learning.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy travelling, spending time in nature and being around animals. I aim to keep lessons relaxed, positive and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and making steady progress.

Hi! I’m a medical student and tutor with a strong passion for Maths and Physics.
I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a simple, clear, and engaging way.
I’m friendly, patient, and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit each student, whether they need help building confidence, preparing for exams, or strengthening their understanding of key concepts.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, badminton and spending time with family and friends.
Who to speak to
All current tutors have completed safeguarding essentials training, and every new tutor must complete it before teaching a student. If you have a concern about a child’s welfare, our safeguarding policy explains how to contact us and how we handle it.
